New tune & Videoclip: Promises

During a very creative recording session at WeedyG Soundforce – Studio in Switzerland, Bandito (Weedy G’s top producer) sonicated Cookie with his latest Riddim ‚GATE 7‘ and asked him to voice it.

Cookie didn’t hesitate and from he liked the riddim from start, in the very same session he wrote and recorded this great new track ‚Promises‘ which now got released worldwide by Weedy G in collaboration with VP Records. The tune already got very positive worldwide feedback. It even got presented on SRF3 Swiss National Radio’s ‚Reggae Special‘ and is already to be heard on various international Mixtapes and Reggae shows too. On the same Riddim – selection are songs of several other great artists to be heard, such as Agent Sasco a.k.a Assassin, Perfect Giddimani, Torch & Bugle, Skarra Mucci, Don Tippa and many more.
‚Promises‘ is a lyrically strong song which mostly talks about promises (as the title says it). Promises that are seldom kept. To avoid disappointments, the song also warns people from trusting too much in other people’s promises and loyalty.
